Ceredigion has some quiet, unsurfed beaches that make this stretch a coast of opportunity for the explorer. Even the well known beaches are usually quiet. It takes a large swell to push the waves onto the beaches here, but when it does you can get some amazing barrels.  Aberystwyth is the main hub of activity with the surf culture and shops based here.
